The Story About Mani Admin Plug-in

The initial release of Mani Admin Plug-in was V.1.0.0, released 30th Dec. 2004. It was one of the first plug-ins for the VALVe Source Engine, that provided administrative features via an ingame menu allowing you to easily maintain and manage your SRCDS installation. The next milestone in the development was V.1.1.0, released 02nd April 2005. With the release of Mani Admin Plug-in V.1.2, it was possible to automaticly load and setup Mani Admin Plug-in complelty ingame, which made it being the first plug-in to be loaded and managed via the server console in first place.


What Is The Main Purpose Of Mani Admin Plug-in

Mani Admin Plug-in is entirely coded in C++ to allow a huge level of performance on your gameserver. It works well on Linux and Windows SRCDS installations and supports VALVe games and 3rd party gamemods that do build up on the Source Engine (Cs: S, DoD:S, Hl2: DM, TF2 etc.). It is designed to be as effective as possible, while not handicapping you with building up your server exactly the way you want it to be.


The Idea Behind The Software

The source code of Mani Admin Plug-in has been released to the public under the GNU license by his eponym and founder Mani at the 01.07.2009. Mani Admin Plug-in is maintained by a group of expierienced C++ coders and a community that is activly involved in the development. Mani Admin Plug-in offers you the freedom to do what ever you want to, while you also can activly determine the direction of the software via giving input directly to its developers.


What's Up Next?

The next major release of Mani Admin Plug-in will be V.2.0, which will be a complete rewrite of the plug-in, allowing a higher level of customization to adapt the plug-in even more to your daily needs.
